Clinic Assistant

Location:  Hancock, MI

POSITION SUMMARY:

The clinic assistant is a facility trained assistant to the desk and flow nurses in the clinic and providers. The clinic assistant performs technical tasks and office desk work tasks that are delegated by the clinic RN, LPN, CMA, or provider.

Education, Training, Licensing and Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience or training in healthcare field
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (non-certified), preferred
  • Medical terminology training, preferred





Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) is a Federally Qualified Health Center and is a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Deemed Facility.
UGL receives funding from The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and has Federal Public Health Service deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims for itself and its covered individuals.
