Clinic Assistant

The clinic assistant is a facility trained assistant to the desk and flow nurses in the clinic and providers. The clinic assistant performs technical tasks and office desk work tasks that are delegated by the clinic RN, LPN, CMA, or provider.

Required Education, Training, Certification/Licensure and Experience:

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

CPR Certification (BLS)

Experience or training in health care field

CNA – Certified Nurse Assistant, preferred

Medical Assistant – Non Certified, preferred

Medical Terminology training, preferred
