Clinic RN, LPN or Certified Medical Assistant

Number of Hours:  .9 or 72 hours in a 2-week pay period

Location:  Hancock, MI

Description:  This position is located at the OB/GYN clinic at UP Health System Portage.  Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center will lease this employee from Portage.  Assists the physician in a busy office setting.  Must be able to obtain vital signs, patient history and schedule diagnostic testing.  Work assignment will vary depending on staffing needs.

Required Education, Training, Certification/Licensure and Experience:

  • Graduate of a school of nursing or medical assistant program
  • Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Licensed as an RN, LPN or CMA in the State of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
