Heather Bennett, NP, Joins Team of Family Medicine Providers at UGL’s Ice Lake Family Health Center

IRON RIVER, MI – Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) welcomes Heather Bennett, Nurse Practitioner (NP), to their team of Family Medicine providers. She will be serving patients at UGL’s Ice Lake Family Health Center located in Iron River, MI.

Bennett was born, raised and attended school in Iron River, MI. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in Green Bay, WI, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI.

Bennett has an interest in Family Medicine because health promotion and prevention are her passion. “I look forward to taking on additional responsibilities to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective care to help my family, friends, neighbors, and community members attain health and wellness,” says Bennett. She hopes to achieve this by developing long-lasting relationships while approaching health care in a collaborative manner.

Bennett enjoys living in Iron River due to the sense of community the area provides. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and newly adopted puppy. They appreciate the summer months when they can cook out, swim, and camp together.
