Whitney Brey, PA-C, Joins Team at UGL’s Calumet Family Health Center

CALUMET, MI – Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) welcomes Whitney Brey, Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), to their team of family medicine providers at the Calumet Family Health Center.

Brey attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. She then went on to attend Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI, where she obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Degree. Brey is a current member of both the Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Association of Physician Assistants.

Brey enjoys being able to get to know and care for her patients and their families and she looks forward to getting her patients more involved in managing their health care. Says Brey, “I am compassionate about open communication and teamwork when caring for my patients. I believe it is very important for the patient to partake in their healthcare as a partnership with me.”

Brey is very happy to get back to her Yooper roots and to serve the Copper Country again. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, camping, hiking, and being outdoors. She loves to spend time with her husband (Jimmy), their 2 young children (Ella – 2 years old and Connor – 5 months old), dog (Chloe), and their extended family.
