“I love my job, profession, and career for many reasons.  Seeing a family begin when a couple receives their firstborn is so beautiful. Having those connections with people and families and assisting them proactively or resolving an emergency is rewarding.  Educating patients and families is part of my joy as I spend time with everyone and try to introduce humor where it might ease fears appropriately.”

“Being a CNM affords me the opportunity to build relationships, empower women, and provide individualized care. I am particularly interested in gynecology, prenatal care, labor support, birth, and breastfeeding promotion. My favorite thing about being a midwife is attending births. I feel honored that I get to be present for such a special moment in a woman’s life.”
