We’re a non-profit, taxpayer-supported, patient-governed organization called a Federally Qualified Health Center. We ensure that people in rural communities receive the health care they deserve, regardless of their ability to pay.

U.P. Crisis Line
Upper Peninsula will be able to call, text or chat with MiCAL for free behavioral health crisis triage, support, resource information and referral to local services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MiCAL can be reached via phone or text at 844-446-4225. Chat through Michigan.gov/MiCAL.

UGL receives funding from The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and has Federal Public Health Service deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims for itself and its covered individuals.
