Upper Great Lakes Family Health is thrilled to announce that Dr. Anna Meyers, a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, has joined our team!
Dr. Meyers brings a deep passion for whole-person, family-centered care and will be seeing patients at our Hancock Pediatrics Clinic. She looks forward to providing compassionate care to children and their families across the Upper Peninsula.
A proud native of Houghton, MI, Dr. Meyers graduated from Houghton High School and Michigan Technological University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. Following her internship at Overlook Family Medicine/Mt. Sinai in New Jersey, she completed her pediatrics residency at Authority Health/Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2016.
Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Meyers also serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, adolescent care, integrative medicine, childhood obesity, mental health, nutrition, early childhood development, newborn and infant care, metabolic health, and women’s health. Dr. Meyers is committed to treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and partners closely with families to support their children’s growth and well-being. Her compassionate and collaborative approach helps families feel empowered throughout their health journeys.
Inspired by her mother, a nurse, and her own experiences growing up in the U.P., Dr. Meyers is excited to return home to serve the community she loves. She is excited to raise her son and daughter surrounded by the beauty of the Great Lakes. Outside of work, she enjoys fly fishing, skiing, hiking, and traveling with her family.
