Upper Great Lakes Family Health is pleased to welcome Bella Sleeman, PA-C, to our Hancock Family Health Center, expanding access to primary care services for patients and families in Hancock and surrounding communities.

A Houghton native, Bella recently returned to the area after spending two years in Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan Technological University before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University.

As a family medicine provider, Bella is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and providing personalized, compassionate care. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health and confident in the care they receive.

“Coming home and caring for the community that shaped me is incredibly meaningful,” Bella shared. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back to the place where my passion for healthcare began.”

While Bella cares for patients of all ages, she has a particular interest in women’s health. She provides services including well-women exams, Pap smears, recommended screenings, birth control counseling, sexual health education, and care for common women’s health concerns. Bella is committed to creating an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and having open conversations about their health.

Outside of work, Bella enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and connecting with friends and family. The couple recently married and share their home with Murphy, their miniature dachshund.
