Upper Great Lakes Family Health is proud to recognize Heather Bengry, Community Health Worker, as the recipient of the Superior Spotlight Award.

The Superior Spotlight Award recognizes employees who go above and beyond in supporting their coworkers, patients, and organization while making a positive impact across UGL.

Throughout Heather’s time with UGL, she has demonstrated exceptional flexibility, teamwork, and dedication. While serving as a Patient Services Representative, Heather offered to cross-train as a Medical Assistant so she could step in wherever help was needed. Even after transitioning into her current role as a Community Health Worker, she continues to fill gaps and support clinic operations in Ice Lake whenever called upon. 

Heather’s kindness, positive attitude, and willingness to help have made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and the patients she serves. Long before becoming a Community Health Worker, she was already finding ways to connect patients with resources, overcome barriers, and make their lives a little easier. Her genuine compassion and servant heart exemplify what it means to put others first.
