Construction is already underway on the new facility, with Cross General Contracting, Inc. serving as the general contractor for the project. The new space will allow UGL to continue providing medical, dental, and behavioral health services in Sawyer while supporting the organization’s long-term commitment to the community.

“We are incredibly excited to see this project moving forward and to celebrate with members of our leadership team and Board,” said Trevor Hodges, Chief Executive Officer of Upper Great Lakes Family Health. “UGL has been proud to be part of the Sawyer community, and this new facility reflects our continued commitment to providing high-quality, accessible care for the people who live here and in the surrounding area.”

The new facility will provide a modern, welcoming space designed to support patients, providers, and staff and strengthen UGL’s ability to serve the Sawyer community for years to come.

As construction continues, UGL looks forward to sharing additional updates on the project and eventually welcoming patients into the new space.
